Jebel Hafeet Mountains AI Ain...

January 6th 2006, the family decided to head south to the infamous Oasis City of the Emirates which is Al Ain. It was a two hour drive from the city and just following the brown signs of the town led us to the rocky mountains of Jebel Hafeet. 1350 meters high, of craggy rock, the mountain is a major landmark positioned to the south of the city. A 13 kilometer long road winds its way to the summit where temperatures are significantly lower. On a clear day there are magnificent views of the city and it’s surrounds, we had pictures taken from near top of the mountain but we decided not to go further since we all agreed we were so Lula na..=>
On top of that we also experienced a natural foot spa with all the soaking we need in Al Ain's hot spring. The warm water was so relaxing and the smell of grilled kabab of the neighboring campers added some thrill. We decided to test our trecking skills and headed on top of the mountain by foot. At the middle of the trail, to my dismay, I was too scared to even climb one step higher so I decided to call it quits and just enjoy the view from the foot of the mountain. The place was really something and we enjoyed every single sight Al Ain has to offer. And for sure we are definitely going back there!
